Selection Process:

(a) For the posts of Assistant Managers (for post codes E01 to E06) -> The selection methodology will comprise a three-stage process Written Test (two papers). Group Discussion & Personal Interview followed by Medical Examination in Executive/ Technical/ Non-technical category or the adjudging the degree of disability in required category as the case may be.
(b) For the post of Station Controller/Train Operator (post code-NEO1) and Customer Relations Assistant (post code-NE02) -> the selection methodology will comprise four stage process - Written Test (two papers). Psycho Test (qualifying) & Personal Interview followed by Medical examination in Aye-one category.
(c) For the post of Jr.Engineers (post codes NE03, NE04, NE05 & NE06) -> the selection methodology will comprise three-stage process - Written Test (two papers). Personal Interview followed by Medical examinations in Aye-one category not below Aye-three.
(d) For the post of Account Asstt (post codes NE07) the selection methodology will comprise two-stage process - Written Test (two papers), followed by Medical examination in Cee-One category. There will be no interview for this category of post.
(e) For the post of Maintainer (post codes NE08) -> the selection methodology will comprise two-stage process - Written Test (one paper), followed by Medical examination in Bee-One category. There will be no interview for these categories of posts.

Application and Examination Fee (A Non-refundable): ₹ 400/- (inclusive of bank charges plus service tax) for UR & OBC (including Ex-servicemen) candidates; ₹ 150/- (for processing fee only, inclusive of bank charges plus service tax) for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

After, successful filling up of the online application form, a bank Challan with Bank Reference Number (the reference number will be unique) will be generated. The registration link cum Bank Challan will remain active only upto 15th October 2016. The system generated Bank challan will be in triplicate (1st copy - Bank Copy, 2nd copy - Candidate's Copy and 3rd copy - DMRC's Copy). The Candidates are required to take a print out of this system generated Bank Challan and deposit the requisite Written Examination Fee in any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) after a minimum of 24 hrs of generation of the Bank Challan. Only, State Bank of India (SBI) has been authorized by DMRC to collect the application fee, in a specially opened DMRC Account No. 33700092265.

How to Apply: Eligible Interested Persons are required to Apply Online through DMRC Website. The Online registration close on 15/10/2016 up to 23.59 hrs.

IBPS RRB Recruitment Notification 2016 Released, Apply at ibps.in




ibps-mainIBPS RRB CWE V Notification: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the official notification for RRB-CWE V. Candidates can apply at official portal (ibps.in) before 30 September.
IBPS will conduct online examination for all the participating RRBs. The examination will be held for recruiting eligible candidates to Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose). Exact date has not been given by IBPS, however the exam will be held in November and December 2016.



As of now a total of 16560 vacancies have been notified by IBPS.

Who can apply for IBPS RRB CWE V?

IBPS has set different criteria options for various posts. Details of educational qualification are given below:

Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent (a) Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s (b) Desirable: Knowledge of Computer skills.

Officer Scale-I: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy; Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s. Computer knowledge or awareness will be an added qualification

Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Candidate must also have two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers:

Information Technology Officer: Degree from a recognised University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Candidate must have One year valid experience

Chartered Accountant: Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Candidate must have One year valid experience.


Law Officer: Degree from a recognised University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Candidate must have experience of two years as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period not less than two years.

Treasury Manager: Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution. Candidate must have One year valid experience

Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing from a recognized university. Candidate must have One year valid experience.

Agricultural Officer: Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Candidate must have two year valid experience.

Officer Scale-III: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Candidate must have minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions.

Candidates should note that for recruitment of Officer Scale I & Office Assistant (Multipurpose), proficiency in local language shall be an essential qualification. Candidates who have already studied the language of the State in standard VIII or any level above standard VIII in Government recognized Boards of Education/ School or having any certificate to the effect for standard VIII or any level above standard VIII would be considered proficient in that local language. In case the candidate does not meet the aforesaid requirement in local language at the time of selection, he will be given a time of six months from the date of joining to acquire the proficiency. This period can be extended by the Boards of RRBs within the framework of the rules and provided that such extension should not be beyond the probation period.

How to apply for IBPS RRB CWE V?

Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply online at the official portal of IBPS. Candidates are required to submit the application online along with the prescribed application fee:

Officer Scale I, II & III: Rs 600 (Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD candidates)

Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Rs 600 (Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates)

Candidates should note that one can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III. Candidates have to apply separately and pay fees / intimation charges separately for each post.

Selection Procedure for IBPS RRB CWE V

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in online examination and personal interview. There will be single level examination for Officer Scale II and III.

For other posts the online examination will be held in two phases: Preliminary and Main. Details can be found below:

Preliminary exam will be of 80 marks in total and 45 minutes duration. Exam would comprise of reasoning and numerical ability test (Office Assistant) and reasoning and quantitative aptitude (officer scale I). Examination will be of Hindi/ English medium.

Candidates (for both posts) have to qualify in both the tests by securing minimum cut-off marks. Adequate number of candidates in each category, depending upon requirements, will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.

Main exam will be objective as well. Questions will be asked from reasoning, numerical ability, general awareness, English, Hindi and Computer knowledge. The examination will of 200 marks total and candidates will have to complete it in 02 hours.

Exam scheme for Officer Scale I & II

For Officer Scale I & II, there will be single level examination of objective type. The examination will be of 200 marks in total and questions will be related to reasoning, aptitude, financial awareness, professional knowledge, computer knowledge, etc.

Interview will be held for those candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination for the post of Officers Scale I and in the single level examination for the post of Officers Scale II and III.

Important Note for Candidates: Pre-Examination Training will be given to a limited number of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities/ Ex-Servicemen/ Persons With Disabilities for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities for the Post of Officer Scale-I at some centers. Candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:25, 54 i.e. 25 candidates for every vacancy, subject to availability of sufficient number of eligible candidates. Candidates will be shortlisted by applying suitable cut off in the percentage of marks, in multiples of five. The number of candidates shortlisted may be slightly more or less due to the criteria of applying cut off in multiples of five.

(c) For the purpose of shortlisting of candidates for OMR/Computer Based Examination, the Commission will follow the yardstick adopted by the University/Institution and take into account the percentage of marks as indicated in the Final Year Marks Statement. The Commission will not take the responsibility of working out the percentage of marks by adding up the marks secured by the candidates in different subjects/each year of Graduation and instead take into account the percentage of marks / CGPA as indicated in the Final year mark statement.

(d) Where the Merit of the candidate is indicated in the Final Year Mark Statement in CGPA without indicating the corresponding percentage of marks, the Commission will follow the criteria indicated by the University/Institution in the Certificate, if any for arriving at the corresponding percentage. In all other cases, the Commission will apply the conversion formula of CGPA (as indicated in the Final Year Mark Statement) multiplied by (x) 9.5.

(e) The criteria followed by the Commission in shortlisting candidates will be final. No appeal or representation will be entertained against such Shortlisting criteria.

f) The information furnished by the candidates in their applications will be verified by the Commission with reference to the original documents after the OMR/Computer Based Examination. During verification of documents, if it is found that any information furnished by the candidate in the application is wrong, his/her candidature will be rejected forthwith. No appeal or representation against such rejection of candidature will be entertained. The candidates should ensure that they have furnished correct information in the application form.
